Sometimes, students earn credits by providing limited technical skill in a particular area.

Associate in Science (AS) Degree
This is also a two year long basic foundation program in the liberal arts and science, but for a more narrowly focused bachelor’s degree. It puts greater emphasis on math
and sc9ince and prepares students for specific bachelor’s degree programs such as physics, chemistry and engineering. Out of its 60 semester hours, half are devoted for general education credits with at least 4 semester hours in Communications, Social Science, Humanities, Mathematics and Natural Science. You can choose remaining 10 semester hours of general education from these remaining five categories. For almost all the applied course, liberal arts and science are perquisites.

Associate in Applied Science (AAS)
This degree program is designed to prepare students specifically for the employment just after obtaining this degree. The students pursuing this degree program are required to complete 60 semester hours including 20 semester hours in the fields of Social Science, Communication, Humanities, and Natural Science or Mathematics.
